Respect. You should keep "kitty" in the house to use as a heater to lower electric bills.

Last year we went ultra green and don't even need newspaper. Kitty was booted from the house and now lives in the backyard. We all have to make sacrifices to save this planet from eminent destruction.

Well if you iron your news paper I heard that it stops the ink from running,
so if you are going to use newspaper for kitty litter then quickly iron the paper before
you shred it. And since most people should own a shredder to shred their personal info,
that would be better then hand ripping all the news paper.

I just wanted to say kudoos! I was cruising on Bing when I found your website. After spending some time on this blog I've come up with some good ideas for a new weblog. I just thought I'd let you in on it

Some cat lady like two weeks ago told me that tip about putting a few whole sheets at the bottom. That might be my next step.

I've been using newspaper for years for a couple of different cats.
I got them used to it by first adding a little clay litter to the paper strips.
It doesn't take long for them long to get with the program.
I do put a couple of unshredded sheets down under the strips for better absorption.
