The best tip is to go to one of those car washes because they usually conserve water a lot better than you can washing it on your driveway... Also I think they &quot;clean&quot; or cycle the water too.
Even the &quot;free car wash&quot; offered by many gas stations work well..
Thats the only way I used to wash my old car.

I used to wash boats in summers...
and this sounds weird, 
but I used to take a VACUUM to the boat exterior. 
I would take one of those soft brush attachments so I wouldn&#039;t scratch it. It would take most of the dirt and dust off.
Then I would wash it when most of the dirt was off. =)</description>
