Hoooweee, buddy, you stink! What’s that? You don’t know how to eliminate bad odors in an eco-friendly way? Well, cock yer ear this way, mate, and listen up.

What Odor?” claims to be “safe for people, pets, and the planet”, and they back this up by being non-toxic, non-hazardous, non-reactive, non-flammable, AND non-corrosive. That’s more “nons” than an Indian restaurant! *pause for laughter*

Besides all that, it’s 100% biodegradable, which means it breaks down safely.

Their sort o’ cheesy name aside, this is a great odor eliminator. Instead of just masking a bad smell with some fragrance, this has active ingredients that break down the odor on a molecular level. I can’t verify that, as I didn’t have a microscope handy, so I did a bit of testing on my own.

What Odor? Spray bottle

My first test was on my lovingly hand-tiled floor (see picture above) where my cursed cat had done some spraying of her own. After giving her a stern talking to, and wiping off the pee, the floor still smelled like, well, cat pee. I sprayed a few whiffs of “What Odor?” on it, waited a bit, then wiped it up. Bam, cat pee smell gone!

Not one to be satisfied with only one test, I put it to a tougher challenge. My sneakers that I wore for two weeks in a row in China. Ooh lawdy, my feet had been cooking in them. I sprayed the “What Odor?” into the shoes, said a fervent prayer to the spaghetti monster, and waited a tad.

After a bit, I gingerly approached the shoes, and took a hesitant sniff. Somehow, they didn’t smell. I don’t know how long that’ll last, but for the time being, “What Odor?” had done it.

So, pal, if you’d like to get rid of some stank with an environmentally safe cleaner, give “What Odor?” a try. It’s a bit pricy, but it lasts for a good long while. Also, they apparently have an “odor free guarantee”, so if it doesn’t work for you, just let ’em know.
